Pastor Matt has been in ministry for over 20 years in Pennsylvania, Maryland and Michigan working as a youth pastor, children’s pastor and senior pastor. He is currently the transitional pastor at FCC focusing on church renewal and ministry development. He has also worked in the business arena in the field of sales and marketing of educational products and has owned his own business focusing on art, antiques and the secondary market.

For fun Matt enjoys collecting art, antiques and collectables and watching a good basketball game. He is an avid walker and hiker, enjoying Northern Michigan sights outdoors anytime it is above freezing! He has been overheard saying, “I love Traverse City!…from April through December.”
